This Privacy Policy describes how the LinkedIn to Polluxa CRM Chrome extension ("the Extension") collects, uses, stores, shares and protects user data. By installing and using the Extension, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Overview
The Extension helps you add LinkedIn profiles as leads to your Polluxa CRM account. It reads the LinkedIn profile you are currently viewing, sends that profile's public information to the Polluxa CRM APIs, and displays your daily lead capacity within the extension interface.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 LinkedIn Profile Data (viewed by you)
When you view a LinkedIn profile page, the Extension reads public information visible on that page:
LinkedIn profile URL
Profile name
Profile headline / title
Company / current employer
Location
About / summary (if visible on the page)
Email address (only if publicly shown on the profile's Contact Info section, or linked via a mailto link)
Phone number (only if publicly shown on the profile, or linked via a tel link)
Profile photo URL
The Extension does not read private messages, connections lists, feed content, or any data outside the profile page you have opened.
2.2 Polluxa CRM Authentication Data
To add leads to your Polluxa CRM account, the Extension collects:
Polluxa authentication token (session token issued by the Polluxa login page at sales.polluxa.com)
Polluxa account email
Agent ID and Unipile Account ID (identifiers for the CRM agent configured for your account)
2.3 Automatically Generated Data
Daily lead counts: The number of leads you have added today and your daily lead cap, retrieved from the Polluxa API to display capacity information.
3. How We Use the Data
The collected data is used exclusively for:
Adding the LinkedIn profile you are viewing as a lead in your Polluxa CRM account
Verifying whether a profile has already been added (to avoid duplicate leads)
Displaying your daily lead intake and capacity in the extension interface
Enriching lead records with name, title, company, location, email and phone information
The Extension does not use your data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the CRM lead-adding functionality described above.
4. Data Storage
Local storage: Your Polluxa authentication token, account email, Agent ID and Unipile Account ID are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage.local API. This data stays on your device and is only sent to Polluxa's official API endpoints when required.
No local retention of profile data: LinkedIn profile data (name, title, company, etc.) is transmitted to the Polluxa API and is not retained in local extension storage.
5. Data Transmission and Sharing
Data is transmitted only to the following services:
5.1 Polluxa CRM services (your CRM provider)
https://salesapi.gravityer.com — Polluxa CRM API (creates and updates leads, fetches agents and daily stats)
https://newtonai.gravityer.com — Polluxa lead addition service (adds a lead by LinkedIn URL)
Profile data and your Polluxa authentication token are sent to these services solely to perform the lead-add operation you trigger.
5.2 LinkedIn
https://www.linkedin.com — the Extension reads the profile page you have opened in your browser. No data is sent to LinkedIn by the Extension beyond what your normal browsing does.
5.3 No Other Parties
The Extension does not share, sell, rent or transfer your data to any other third party. Your data is not used for advertising and is not shared with any data brokers or analytics providers.
6. User Control and Consent
The Extension only reads profile data and adds leads when you are viewing a LinkedIn profile and explicitly click the "Add to Lead" button (either in the extension popup or the floating widget).
You can stop all data processing by uninstalling the Extension. Uninstalling removes the Extension from your browser; locally stored authentication data is removed when you uninstall or clear extension data.
7. Data Retention
Profile data is retained in your Polluxa CRM account according to Polluxa CRM's own data retention and account policies.
Your authentication token is stored locally until you log out, remove the Extension, or your session expires.
8. Security
Data in transit is protected using HTTPS encryption.
Your authentication token is stored using Chrome's built-in extension storage and is only ever transmitted to Polluxa's official API endpoints with your authorization header.
The Extension does not log, expose or transmit your authentication token to any party other than Polluxa.
9. Children's Privacy
The Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
